RESOLUTION NO. 3351 <br /> A RESOLUTION honoring the memory of Jim Ennis, Veteran coach. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT: <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, <br /> representing the citizens of the City of Everett, hereby <br /> acknowledges and honors the service of Jim Ennis as both a coach <br /> of champions and an educator who cared about his students in our <br /> community. <br /> WHEREAS, Jim Ennis will be remembered by everyone who knew <br /> him. He touched so many people's lives and there are so many <br /> people who are successful because of Jim Ennis. <br /> WHEREAS, Jim Ennis will be missed through-out the community <br /> in which he was actively involved. He was a coach for 42 years, <br /> 33 with the Everett School District. He came to Everett in 1939 <br /> as an assistant football coach and head basketball coach. Since <br /> retiring from the school district, Jim served as a consultant to <br /> the district and to the Evergreen State Fair. <br /> WHEREAS, the members of the City Council extend their <br /> sympathy to the members of his fa ly. <br /> Councilman Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 15th day of August, 1990. <br /> Council President / <br /> S 1 ,P�l; , % , 1 <br /> Mayor <br />
