r 13
LUMBER & HARDWARE, INC.
2730 BROADWAY • EVERETT,WASH.98201
259-3134
Paul A. Roberts
Director of Planning & Community Development
Everett City Hall
Everett, WA 98201
RE: City of Everett Land Use meeting 1/9/90
January 5, 1990
Dear Mr. Roberta,
This letter is in regards to Thomas Hoffmans application to build
a house on the 5' X 120' lot adjacent to his residence at 2321,
Walnut St. I would be in favor of granting a permit for the fol-
lowing reasons:
1. The size of the lot is fixed and Mr. Hoffman has no
opportunity to enlarge the size.
2. According to previous Grandfather clause allowances res-
idences have been permitted on 5' lots in the City of Everett.
3. I am keenly aware of the need for low cost housing, some
of which must be built on small lots in order to accomodate low
and moderate income families.
4. As you know, many attractive house designs are available
and would not do harm to neighbors or to the appearance of the
neighborhood.
As a resident of the City of Everett and a property owner at
3103 - 23rd, it would not seem reasonable to deny a permit
for this construction.
Very:Truly Yours,
ames C. Martin
CC: Thomas Hoffman
100
