� I <br /> RESOLUTION gC2 (p 7 <br /> A Resolution adopting the Hewitt Avenue <br /> Corridor Survey: City of Everett, Phase Two <br /> as part of the Everett Historic Resource Survey <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett Historical Commission requested that the City of <br /> Everett accomplish a Hewitt Avenue Corridor Survey for the City of Everett <br /> citizens; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council and Mayor agreed and accepted the <br /> recommendation to accomplish this inventory of historic properties; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett Historical Commission is presenting to the City <br /> Council and Mayor the completed Hewitt Avenue Corridor Survey; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> 1. The Everett Historic Resource Survey is amended to include the <br /> Hewitt Avenue Corridor Survey and will be the official inventory <br /> of historic properties for the City of Everett. The properties <br /> listed in the inventory are hereby deemed to have historical <br /> significance for the City of Everett. <br /> 2. The Everett Historic Resource Survey as amended will be used by <br /> all City departments in review of proposed development to insure <br /> conformance with all local, state and federal regulations. <br /> 3. The City Council would like the Everett Historic Resource Survey <br /> as amended widely distributed to the public so that developers <br /> and investors interested in historic property restoration will <br /> be able to take advantage of the financial incentives available <br /> from state and federal government for historic property <br /> restoration. <br /> 4. The Everett Historic Resource survey as amended be used as an <br /> important reference document and planning tool when updating <br /> and revising citywide plans and regulations such as the <br /> Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code. <br /> 5. The Everett Historic Resource Survey as amended should not be <br /> viewed as a stagnant document, but as one that will be updated <br /> on a continual basis.
