(I-MA)provided Geotechnical Special Inspections,for <br /> the above-referenced project. The wall Contractor for the project was By Design Rockeries of <br /> Duvall, Washington. Construction began on December 11th 2015 and was competed on <br /> December 16th 2015. <br /> Our geotechnical special inspections were completed as recommended in our geotechnical <br /> report. A copy of our geotechnical report is included an Appendix A of this summary report. <br /> Our inspections were completed on a full-time basis through construction of the Rockery. Daily <br /> field reports were prepared after each site visit. Copies of all of our field reports are included in <br /> Appendix B of this Summary Report. Brief descriptions of our Geotechnical Special Inspection <br /> items are presented in the following paragraphs. <br /> 1. Observe and monitor excavation.We observed the removal of the existing degrading <br /> rockery to make way for the new rockery. To avoid opening up the entire wall alignment, <br /> the removal of the old rockery was completed in sections as the new rockery was <br /> constructed. This work was completed between December 11th and December 16'h of 2015. <br /> To the best of our knowledge,all excavations were completed per the recommendations <br /> provided in our geotechnical report. <br /> 2. Wall drainage installation. We observed installation of the drain located behind the newly <br /> constructed rockery.
