E/ I ( it n MAJORITY PETITION FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS To the City Council of Everett, Washington: We, the owners of the property aggregating a majority of the area within the proposed local improvement district depicted in (Exhibit A) attached and incorporated by reference, as evidenced by the records of Snohomish County Auditor, petition the Everett City Council to form a local improvement district to effect the construction of the following complete standard street improvements, including curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and storm drainage modifications: a half-street improvement on the southern half of 121st Street S.E. , from the western city limits to the intersection of 121st Street S.E. and Silver Lake Drive; a half-street improvement along the west side of Silver Lake Drive, extending north from 121st Street S.E. approximately 500 feet; a full-street improvement along 121st Street S.E. from Silver Lake Drive to State Route 527; a full-street improvement along State Route 527 from 120th Place S.E. to the westerly extension of the north line of Paradise Tracts; a half-street improvement on the western half of State Route 527, from westerly extension of the north line of Paradise Tracts to the westerly extension of the south line of Paradise Tracts; and a traffic light at the intersection of 121st Street S.E. and State Route 527 ; together with all other appurtenances and modifications deemed necessary by the City Engineer in connection with these improvements. All work will be done in accordance with the plans to be prepared by the City Engineer. The proportion or percentage of the area within the proposed local improvement district owned by the petitioners is percent (this figure will be inserted after signatures on copies of the petition have been obtained) . There shall be included in the cost and expense of the proposed local improvement district all of the cost items listed in RCW 35.44 . 020 (see cost summary in Exhibit B) . The improvement district shall be paid for under the mode of "payment by bonds" , by means of special assessments against the properties specially benefited by the improvements and included within the proposed local improvement district. The special assessments may be paid over a period of years to be established by the city council.
