E/ <br /> I ( it n <br /> MAJORITY PETITION FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS <br /> To the City Council of Everett, Washington: <br /> We, the owners of the property aggregating a majority of the area <br /> within the proposed local improvement district depicted in (Exhibit A) <br /> attached and incorporated by reference, as evidenced by the records of <br /> Snohomish County Auditor, petition the Everett City Council to form a <br /> local improvement district to effect the construction of the following <br /> complete standard street improvements, including curbs, gutters, <br /> sidewalks, and storm drainage modifications: <br /> a half-street improvement on the southern half of 121st <br /> Street S.E. , from the western city limits to the <br /> intersection of 121st Street S.E. and Silver Lake Drive; a <br /> half-street improvement along the west side of Silver Lake <br /> Drive, extending north from 121st Street S.E. approximately <br /> 500 feet; a full-street improvement along 121st Street S.E. <br /> from Silver Lake Drive to State Route 527; a full-street <br /> improvement along State Route 527 from 120th Place S.E. to <br /> the westerly extension of the north line of Paradise Tracts; <br /> a half-street improvement on the western half of State Route <br /> 527, from westerly extension of the north line of Paradise <br /> Tracts to the westerly extension of the south line of <br /> Paradise Tracts; and a traffic light at the intersection of <br /> 121st Street S.E. and State Route 527 ; together with all <br /> other appurtenances and modifications deemed necessary by <br /> the City Engineer in connection with these improvements. <br /> All work will be done in accordance with the plans to be prepared <br /> by the City Engineer. The proportion or percentage of the area within <br /> the proposed local improvement district owned by the petitioners is <br /> percent (this figure will be inserted after signatures on copies <br /> of the petition have been obtained) . <br /> There shall be included in the cost and expense of the proposed <br /> local improvement district all of the cost items listed in RCW <br /> 35.44 . 020 (see cost summary in Exhibit B) . The improvement district <br /> shall be paid for under the mode of "payment by bonds" , by means of <br /> special assessments against the properties specially benefited by the <br /> improvements and included within the proposed local improvement <br /> district. The special assessments may be paid over a period of years <br /> to be established by the city council. <br /> This document is one of a number of like documents, all of which <br /> together constitute the Majority Petition for Local Improvements. <br /> Dated at Everett, Washington, 1989. <br /> Work Order No. 2246 <br />
