RESOLUTION NO. -3 .Z(o <br /> A Resolution amending the Land Use Map of <br /> the Everett Comprehensive General Plan for <br /> properties located within the 300 feet north <br /> of 73rd Street Southwest and Upper Ridge Road <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted a Generalized Land Use Plan Map <br /> in 1967 and adopted the Everett Community Plan in 1972; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted a Comprehensive General Plan <br /> Land Use Map designating areas for residential development in 1986; and <br /> WHEREAS, certain properties owned by Associated Sand and Gravel <br /> Company located within Tract 49 and 55 of the Beverly Acreage Tracts, 300 <br /> feet north of 73rd Street Southwest and Upper Ridge Road, are designated by <br /> the Comprehensive General Plan Residential Land Use Map as "Single Family <br /> Detached, 1-5 Dwelling Units per Gross Acre;" and <br /> WHEREAS, Associated Sand and Gravel Company filed an application for <br /> an amendment to the Residential Land Use Map of the Comprehensive General <br /> Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett Planning Commission held a public <br /> hearing to consider the requested Comprehensive General Plan amendment on <br /> July 6, 1989, and approved a change in the land use designation from "Single <br /> Family Detached, 1-5 Dwelling Units per Gross Acre" to "Industrial-Office <br /> and Industrial Park/Special Manufacturing" for certain properties north of <br /> 73rd Street Southwest and Upper Ridge Road. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> 1. The Everett City Council hereby approves a change in the land use <br /> designation of the aforementioned property which is legally described <br /> on Exhibit 1 attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, <br /> from "Single Family Detached, 1-5 Dwelling Units per Gross Acre" to <br /> "Industrial-Office and Industrial Park/Special Manufacturing." <br /> 2. The property described in paragraph 1 herein shall be subject to the <br /> policies pertaining to "Industrial-Office and Industrial Park/Special <br /> Manufacturing" land use contained within the Everett Comprehensive <br /> General Plan until such time that said policies are superseded by the <br /> subsequent City Council action. <br /> C uncilman tro• n: Resolution <br /> Passed this 4=;_7(..) day of 9 . , 1989. <br /> (2,i(KiLs Ailxf <br /> Council President <br /> 270d <br />
