September 2, 2015 The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., September 2, 2015, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Gipson, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. The minutes of the August 26, 2015, City Council meeting were approved as printed. Council Member Moore abstained from the vote. MAYOR Mayor Stephanson had no comments. COUNCIL Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance at the Sound Transit Board meeting that was held last Thursday, August 27, 2015. He thanked Mayor Stephanson for his efforts to keep Everett at the top of Sound Transit Board's priority list. Council Member Murphy announced that the first Budget and Finance Subcommittee meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, 2015, 5:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers. Council Member Murphy reported on his attendance at the City of Everett Exit Conference with the Washington State Auditor's office. He will provide the finalized report to the Council, when it is available. President Bader noted a change to the agenda; Council Briefing agenda item no. 4, Snohomish County Court House Update, has been pulled. President Bader stated that the City Council remains ready to assist Snohomish County in resolving the parking issues related to the proposed Court House at such time as the Snohomish County is ready to proceed. 261
