September 2, 2015 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br />6:30 p.m., September 2, 2015, in the City Council Chambers of the <br />William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. <br />Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br />Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Gipson, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were <br />present. <br />Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />The minutes of the August 26, 2015, City Council meeting were approved <br />as printed. Council Member Moore abstained from the vote. <br />MAYOR <br />Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br />COUNCIL <br />Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance at the Sound Transit <br />Board meeting that was held last Thursday, August 27, 2015. He thanked <br />Mayor Stephanson for his efforts to keep Everett at the top of Sound <br />Transit Board's priority list. <br />Council Member Murphy announced that the first Budget and Finance <br />Subcommittee meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, 2015, <br />5:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers. Council Member Murphy <br />reported on his attendance at the City of Everett Exit Conference with the <br />Washington State Auditor's office. He will provide the finalized report to <br />the Council, when it is available. <br />President Bader noted a change to the agenda; Council Briefing agenda <br />item no. 4, Snohomish County Court House Update, has been pulled. <br />President Bader stated that the City Council remains ready to assist <br />Snohomish County in resolving the parking issues related to the proposed <br />Court House at such time as the Snohomish County is ready to proceed. <br />261 <br />
