RESOLUTION NO. / <br /> A Resolution amending the Land Use Map of <br /> the Everett Comprehensive General Plan for <br /> properties located within the southeast <br /> side of the 2200 block of Lake Heights Drive <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted a Generalized Land Use Plan Map <br /> in 1967 and adopted the Everett Community Plan in 1972; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted a Comprehensive General Plan <br /> Land Use Map designating areas for residential development in 1986; and <br /> WHEREAS, certain properties owned by Bethany-of-the-Northwest, a <br /> nonprofit organization, located within the southeast side of the 2200 block <br /> of Lake Heights Drive are designated by the Comprehensive General Plan <br /> residential land use map as Single Family Detached, 5-10 Dwelling Units Per <br /> Gross Acre; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bethany-of-the-Northwest filed an application for an <br /> amendment to the residential land use map of the Comprehensive General Plan; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett Planning Commission held a public <br /> meeting to consider the requested General Plan amendment on March 7, 1989 <br /> and approved a change in the land use designation from Single Family <br /> Detached, 5-10 Dwelling Units Per Gross Acre to Multiple Family Residential, <br /> 15-25 Dwelling Units Per Gross Acre for the properties southeast of the 2200 <br /> block of Lake Heights Drive. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> 1. The Everett City Council hereby approves a change in the land use <br /> designation of the southeast side of the 2200 block of Lake Heights <br /> Drive from Single Family Detached, 5-10 Dwelling Units Per Gross Acre <br /> to Multiple Family Residential, 15-25 Dwelling Units Per Gross Acre. <br /> 2.
