1 RESOLUTION NO. <br /> 2 <br /> 3 A RESOLUTION honoring the memory of Sid and Nell Koffski and <br /> acknowledging Nell Koffski ' s gift to the Everett Public <br /> 4 Library. <br /> 5 WHEREAS, Sid and Nell Koffski were long term residents of the City of <br /> 6 Everett, well known and appreciated for their sense of civil and community <br /> 7 responsibility; and <br /> 8 <br /> WHEREAS, Nell Koffski survived Sid by approximately a y ten years during <br /> 9 which she assisted at General Hospital and spent considerable time at the <br /> 10 Everett Public Library pursuing her interest in science and the environment; <br /> 11 and <br /> 12 WHEREAS, upon her demise NELL KOFFSKI made gifts from her entire estate <br /> 13 <br /> to: <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Everett General Hospital <br /> 16 Everett Community College <br /> 17 Snohomish County Museum and Historical Association <br /> 18 The Everett Public Library <br /> 19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> 20 EVERETT that the gifts of Nell Koffski to the Everett Public Library and to <br /> 21 <br /> other institutions within the City of Everett are gratefully acknowledged <br /> 22 <br /> and the Mayor and Library Board are hereby directed to erect a plaque in the <br /> 23 <br /> Main Library honoring the memory of Nell Koffski . <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> 26 <br /> Councilmember Introdu g Resolution <br /> 27 <br /> 28 PASSED and APPROVED this //c day of January, 1989. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Counc Pre t <br /> 31 <br /> (3303) <br /> 32 <br />
