1 Section 1 : <br /> 2 That the Mayor is authorized: <br /> 3 A. To review, analyze and develop for the consideration of the City <br /> 4 of Everett, a formula to equitably allocate funding of the cost of delivery <br /> 5 of public health services through the Snohomish Health District for 1988 and <br /> 6 1989; <br /> 7 B. To develop a formula, method or procedure for funding the cost of <br /> 8 the delivery of public health services to the incorporated and <br /> 9 unincorporated areas of Snohomish County through the Snohomish Health <br /> 10 District on the long-term, after calendar 1989. <br /> 11 C. To appoint a subcommittee, composed of financial officers and <br /> 12 legal representatives, for the purpose of analyzing alternative methods of <br /> 13 establishing a formula for equitably funding the cost of the delivery of <br /> 14 public health services; analyzing the position of the County of Snohomish; <br /> 15 analyzing data furnished by the administrators of the Snohomish Health <br /> 16 District; considering the various provisions of statutory mandate, and <br /> 17 Washington Administrative Code mandate to municipal corporations in the area <br /> 18 of public health, to consider the alternative options suggested in WAC <br /> 19 248.990.990, and to analyze, evaluate and prepare recommendations to the <br /> 20 main City/Municipal Public Health Funding Committee for engaging as a <br /> 21 participant in the arbitration matter now pending between the County of <br /> 22 Snohomish and the Snohomish Health District, and to make appropriate <br /> 23 recommendation to the main committee, and thence to the Mayor and City <br /> 24 Council . <br /> 25 <br /> 26 , '4 <br /> 27 Counci perscn Int o/74 //72t,T.,_LiAl . c._ <br /> cin esolution <br /> 28 PASSED and APPROVED this / a day of July, 1988. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> Council Presi ent <br /> 31 (3080) ' <br /> 32 <br /> 2 <br />
