RESOLUTION NO. 30-Z> <br /> A resolution which establishes a surcharge for industrial <br /> dischargers to the Everett sewer system as defined in <br /> ordinance #1308-86 (wastewater pretreatment regulations) , <br /> such that the City may recover the costs of administering <br /> and operating the Industrial Pre-treatment Program: <br /> Whereas, the State Department of Ecology will permit the <br /> user to discharge Industrial Wastewater into the City' s <br /> sewage collection and treatment system; and <br /> Whereas, the City Public Works Director is authorized to <br /> allow the discharge of Industrial Wastewater into the City's <br /> wastewater system provided the wastewater discharged does <br /> not impair the collection or treatment system; and <br /> Whereas, the surcharge rate shall be based upon the cost of <br /> operating and administering the Industrial Pretreatment <br /> Program; and <br /> Whereas, the discharger may or may not have process water <br /> usage metered; <br />
