Please review and <br /> respond to the comments below. These comments address building issues only. Additional <br /> revisions, or additions, may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or <br /> Fire). All references refer to the 2012 International Building Code (IBC), the 2012 International <br /> Fire Code (IFC), the 2012 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and the Z012 International <br /> Energy Conservation (IECC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City <br /> of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible <br /> and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards <br /> may be more restrictive. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two complete new sets of construction documents reflecting the <br /> corrections requested. <br /> 1. Please provide floor and roof plans to show where the equipment is proposed. <br /> Please indicate what kind of appliances the hood will be venting. Please provide <br /> the dimensional relationships between the cooking equipment and the hood. <br /> Please provide the location of the proposed exhaust fan and an IMC required <br /> makeup air fan on the roof. Exhaust and makeup intake must have a minimum <br /> 10 ft. separation. Exhaust must be at least 10 ft. from property lines. <br /> 2. The submitted design states ��It is the responsibility of the architect/ owner to <br /> ensure that the hood clearance from limited-combustible and combustible <br /> materials is in compliance with the local code requirements." The local code <br /> requirements are from the 2012 IMC.
