/ / <br /> RESOLUTION NO. ,--,z) 97 , <br /> A RESOLUTION amending the Comprehensive Plan of the <br /> City of Everett as provided for by Everett Municipal Code Title 2, <br /> Section 20, Subsection 120, to encompass an area north of <br /> 112th Street S.E. from First Avenue West to Third Place S.E. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on October 20, 1987, the <br /> Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the establishment of <br /> Comprehensive General Land Use Plan Policies and a Plan Map designation for <br /> the hereinafter depicted property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the existing Snohomish County land use guidelines and <br /> regulations consist of the Paine Field Area Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that a Notice of Intention to Annex <br /> I to the City of Everett for the area is pending before the Snohomish County <br /> 1 Boundary Review Board; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that State law requires that a <br /> Comprehensive Plan land use designation be established for areas annexed to <br /> the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds after reviewing Planning Commission <br /> 1 recommendations at public hearings on /- -.4.- S17 and /d , <br /> 1988 that the General Comprehensive Plan policies and map designation <br /> hereinafter set forth are in the best interest of the City of Everett. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> 1. The Comprehensive Plan designation of Single Family Detached <br /> 5-10 dwelling units per gross acre is hereby adopted for the <br /> property as set forth on the attached Comprehensive Plan map <br /> which is incorporated herein by reference. <br /> 2. All new development in the annexation area must be in <br /> compliance with the South Everett Drainage Basin's Plan; <br /> wetlands and streams must be maintained and a 25-foot open <br /> space buffer area must be provided between these areas and any <br /> development activity. <br /> 1 <br />
