May 31, 2017 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., May 31, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. Upon roll call, <br /> it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Murphy, Franklin, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 24, 2017, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. Council Members Franklin and Stonecipher abstained from the <br /> vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Franklin reported on her attendance at the Pinehurst- <br /> Beverly Park Neighborhood meeting last week. She provided a liaison <br /> report on her attendance at the Community Streets Initiative meeting earlier <br /> today. Council Member Franklin also reported on her attendance at the <br /> Puget Sound Regional Council Annual General Assembly meeting today. <br /> Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance at the Puget Sound <br /> Regional Council Annual General Assembly meeting today. He also <br /> attended the Memorial Day Service at the Evergreen Cemetery. <br /> Council Member Moore provided an education liaison report on his <br /> attendance at the Governor's Summit on Career Connected Learning. <br /> Council Member Murphy reported on his attendance at the Cruzin' to Colby <br /> Annual Car Show and thanked an event organizer and city staff for their <br /> work. <br /> President Tuohy reminded the public that the Artist Garage Sale will take <br /> place on June 3, 2017. <br /> 185 <br />
