June 14, 2017 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., June 14, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. Upon roll call, <br /> it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Franklin, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. Council Members Murphy <br /> and Bader were excused. <br /> Council Member Franklin led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 7, 2017, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATH — POLICE OFFICER <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Franklin, to concur with the appointment of Ora Evans as a new police <br /> officer. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Murphy and Bader who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered the oath of office, and Mayor <br /> Stephanson presented the officer with her badge. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council members congratulated Everett Community College on its 75th <br /> anniversary. <br /> Council Member Franklin reported on her attendance at the South Forest <br /> Park Neighborhood meeting. She also provided an update regarding the <br /> supportive housing project timeline. <br /> 201 • <br />
