June 14, 2017 <br /> PUBLIC HEARING: <br /> President Tuohy opened the public hearing regarding a proposed ordinance <br /> relating to the Business Improvement Area (BIA), extending the term, <br /> modifying the special assessment levy, and approving a three-year budget, <br /> amending Ordinance No. 2842-05, as amended. <br /> President Tuohy invited public comment. <br /> Craig Skotdal, Downtown Everett Association, spoke in support of the <br /> proposed ordinance. <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Franklin, to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Murphy and Bader who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL BILL 1705-26 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE relating to the Business Improvement Area (BIA), <br /> extending the term, modifying the special assessment levy, and <br /> approving a three-year budget, amending Ordinance No. 2842-05, <br /> as amended <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Franklin, that this is declared to be the third and final reading of <br /> Council Bill No. 1705-26. <br /> The City Clerk was directed to call the roll for the final disposition of the <br /> ordinance. <br /> 204 <br />
