RESOLUTION NO. . CJ <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing application to the State of <br /> Washington for status as a Certified Local Government (CLG). <br /> • <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett recognized the <br /> importance of historic preservation programs, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett adopted Resolution <br /> No. 2759 on September 17, 1986, adopting the Everett Inventory of Historic <br /> Properties, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett approved Ordinance <br /> No 1355-87 on May 27, 1987, establishing the City of Everett Historical <br /> Commission and repealing Ordinance No. 333-79. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT THAT: <br /> 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to make formal application to the <br /> State of Washington for Certified Local Government status and apply <br /> for any funding available from the State as a result of being a <br /> Certified Local Government. <br /> 2.
