.y <br /> RESOLUTION NOt 43,, <br /> A RES 0 L U TION of the Everett City Council <br /> concurring with the Planning Com mission <br /> reco m m endation concerning the co m mercial <br /> and industrial land use policies of the <br /> Everett Comprehensive Plan and the Land <br /> Use Map designating co m mercial and <br /> industrial land uses for the City of <br /> Everett, excluding a portion of the Boeing <br /> Company property, and repealing sections <br /> of other adopted plan policies and maps. <br /> W HEREAS, the Everett City Council adopted a Generalized Land Use Plan map <br /> in 1967 designating various categories of land uses in the City of Everett; and <br /> W HEREAS, the Everett City Council adopted the Everett Community Plan in <br /> 1972 which designated various categories of land uses in the City of Everett; and <br /> W HEREAS, the Everett City Council adopted the Southwest Everett <br /> Comprehensive Plan in 1982 which designated various categories of land use and <br /> provided policy direction for development within a specific geographic area in <br /> Southwest Everett; and <br /> W HEREAS, the Everett City Council adopted the 19th Avenue S.E. <br /> Comprehensive Plan in 1983 which designated various land uses and provided policy <br /> direction for development for a specific geographic area located between Interstate 5 <br /> and 19th Avenue S.E.; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council adopted a Residential Comprehensive <br /> Policy Plan and Land Use Map in 1986; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett Planning Com mission decided that the next <br /> critical area of revision to the Everett Comprehensive General Plan should be the <br /> Com m ercial and Industrial land use policies and land use map, in order to pro mote <br /> consistency of planning policies and land use designations in all corn mercial and <br /> industrial areas of the City, to designate co m mercial and industrial land uses in areas <br /> adjacent to the Everett City limits, and to consolidate all land use plans into one <br /> document; and <br />
