9. COASTAL ZONE MANAGEMENT PROVISIONS <br /> a. Planning Area: The services under this grant will be <br /> provided in connection with and respecting the following <br /> area or areas, herein called the "ADMINISTRATION AREA: " <br /> The administration area of the coastal zone manage- <br /> ment program shall include all those saltwater and <br /> tidally influenced shorelines of the state defined <br /> in the Shoreline Management Act of 1971, and desig- <br /> nated in Chapters 173-18, 173-20, and 173-22 WAC <br /> for all the incorporated and unincorporated areas <br /> of city/county, plus those fresh waters which could <br /> have a direct and significant impact on coastal <br /> waters. <br /> b. Project Coordinator: The GRANTEE hereby designates <br /> David Koenig as the Project Coordinator. The Project <br /> Coordinator shall be responsible for the procedural <br /> obligations under this grant in addition to his/her duty <br /> to coordinate the planning effort here-under. He/She <br /> shall cooperate with all parties concerned in every way <br /> possible to promote successful completion of the <br /> services described in Appendix "A. " <br /> c. Identification of Project Materials: All reports, maps, <br /> and other documents published as part of this grant, <br /> other than documents which are exclusively for internal <br /> use within the DEPARTMENT, shall carry the following <br /> notation on the front cover or title page (or in the <br /> case of maps, the block which contains the name of the <br /> GOVERNMENT unit or the DEPARTMENT) : <br /> "The preparation of this report was financially <br /> aided through a grant from the Washington State <br /> Department of Ecology with funds obtained from the <br /> National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, <br /> and appropriated for Section 306 of the Coastal <br /> Zone Management Act of 1972 . " <br /> d. Documents: The GRANTEE shall provide the DEPARTMENT <br /> with a minimum of five (5) copies of all documents <br /> produced under the terms of this grant unless otherwise <br /> specified in Appendix "A. " <br /> e. Nondiscrimination: The GRANTEE assures that the project <br /> supported by the grant will be conducted in compliance <br /> with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. <br /> 200d-4) and the requirements imposed by the Regulations <br /> of the Department of Commerce (30 Fed. Reg. 305; 15 CFR <br /> Part 8) issued pursuant to that Title, applicable and <br /> appropriate to the project supported by this grant. <br /> 9 <br />
