1+ ` s <br /> RESOLUTION NO.v?€? 6 <br /> A Resolution adopting a Development Plan <br /> for Everett's Central City including <br /> associated studies entitled An Urban <br /> Design Plan for the Everett Harborfront <br /> and A Pedestrian and Bicycle Access Plan <br /> for Everett's Snohomish Riverfront <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has a desire to improve the Central <br /> Business District; and <br /> WHEREAS, numerous public workshops and hearings have been held on the <br /> plans; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council appropriated the necessary funds <br /> to accomplish the plans; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Plans are part of the economic development efforts of <br /> the City of Everett. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> 1 1. The plans entitled: A Development Plan for. Everett's Central City, <br /> An Urban Design Plan for the Everett Harborfront, and A Pedestrian <br /> and Bicycle Access Plan for, Everett's Snohomish Riverfront are hereby <br /> adopted. <br /> 2. Action on those portions of the Urban Design Plan for the Everett <br /> Harborfront Plan, noted in the attached Amendment Page, is deferred <br /> for no longer than eighteen months in order to allow the Port of <br /> Everett to draft a final master plan for full development of thel <br /> south Marine Terminal (Old Weyerhaeuser Mill A site) for review and <br /> approval by the City of Everett Planning Commission and City <br /> Council. If this does not occur within this time frame, then these <br /> parts of the Plan will be brought back to the Planning Commission for <br /> review and adoption. This time schedule started July 9, 1987, the <br /> date of Planning Commission adoption. <br /> 3. Action on those portions of the Development Plan for Everett's <br /> Central City which deal with Harborfront Public Improvements on pages <br /> 48, 49, 50, 51 , 52, and 53 is deferred for no longer than eighteen <br /> months in order to allow the Port of Everett to draft a final master <br /> plan for full development of the South Marine Terminal for review and <br /> approval by the City of Everett Planning Commission and City <br /> Council. If this does not occur within this time frame, then those <br /> parts of the Plan will be brought back to the Everett Planning <br /> Commission and City Council. <br />
