RESOLUTION NOc 476 <br /> A Resolution authorizing the submission of an <br /> application for the 1987 Rental Rehabilitation Program <br /> and to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the <br /> Housing Authority of the City of Everett <br /> for the Rental Rehabilitation Program. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett desires to help provide housing <br /> assistance for low-income residents of Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett desires to rehabilitate residential <br /> units to improve its housing stock; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development has reserved <br /> $81,000 for the City of Everett's Rental Rehabilitation Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Everett does have a need for housing <br /> rehabilitation as stated in its Housing Assistance Plan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED; <br /> That the Mayor be authorized to: <br /> (1) To submit an application for $81 ,000 in Rental <br /> Rehabilitation Program Funds to the Department of Housing <br /> and Urban Development. <br /> (2) To enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the <br /> Housing Authority of the City of Everett for the Rental <br /> Rehabilitation Program. <br /> 29-Ar) <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> �► 6 //iq .9//(0++64_0____ <br /> Council President <br /> 4232F <br />
