RESOLUTION NO. A Resolution recommending the construction of only a portion of the 16th Avenue S.E. improvements suggested in the 19th Avenue S.E. Area Comprehensive Plan WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted the 19th Avenue S.E. Area Comprehensive Plan by Resolution No. 2347 on November 2, 1983; and WHEREAS, the 19th Avenue S.E. Comprehensive Plan made specific recommendations related to transportation improvements; and WHEREAS, the 19th Avenue S.E. Comprehensive Plan called for development of an internal street grid including 16th Avenue S.E. ; and WHEREAS, on January 22, 1985, the Planning Commission discussed the need to develop a more detailed plan for the alignment of 16th Avenue S.E. and the east/west connector streets; and WHEREAS, based on the Planning Commission's concern, the Public Works and Planning Departments developed a conceptual roadway design. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The property owners' proposal to build a portion of the 16th Avenue S.E. roadway corridor as proposed in L.I.D. 727 is consistent with the 19th Avenue S.E. Area Comprehensive Plan, and the conceptual roadway design prepared by the Public Works and Planning Departments with this proposal completing the critical first phase of the roadway corridor.
