Gordon Witchcr
Octobcr 2R, 1996
Pagc 3
E from the end the culvert the creek continues with the same characteristics as Reach A for
approximately 200' where the downstream analysis is 1/4 mile downstream from the Site.
At this point the upstream basin is over 1,000 acres per our review of the USGS Qued
map. Therefore at this point the Site is less than 9.1/1,000 or 1% of the contributing
basin.
From this point the creek continues with the same characteristics as Reach A for
approximately 800';
F The creek enters a culvert which crosses under Central Road (approximately 30' long)
vith unknown diameter (12"7) since the inlet is SO% submerged and the outlet is
submerged. There is a house upstream of the inlet on the east side of the flow path that
appears to be approximately 3' to 5' above the invert of the clvert and approximatcly I'
above the crown of the Central Road pavement;
G From the culvert the creek continues with the same characteristics as Reach A for
approximately 1,000';
H The creek discharges into an existing pond/backwater area of approximately 5 to 8 acres;
From the pond the creek continues with much broader flow passing through a 5' x 12'
concrete crossing with flared entry/exit, a large private arch culvert and then through a
48" CMP culvert under Airport Road.
This concludes the preliminary information to dste. Please review this package and contact me if
additional input is reqired. I look fonverd to receiving the results of your analysis.
Sincerely,
TRIAI ASSOCIATES
.-
„ "  _ x (ZZ
Don Hill, P.E.
cc: Andy Loos
attachments
3`z
