Ruppert - Administrator <br /> Nine Lake Bellevue Dr. #100 <br /> Bellevue, WA 98005 <br /> Relationship to Property: Owner <br /> Requested Action: Shoreline Substantial Development Permit <br /> Location: On Smith Island, west of Highway 99 <br /> North, fronting on Union Slough, within <br /> the E 1/2 of Sec. 5, T. 29 N., R 5 <br /> E.W.M. <br /> Project: To allow the filling of approximately <br /> 66 acres with up to 800,000 cubic yards <br /> of clean inorganic fill material and <br /> the construction of industrial <br /> buildings totaling approximately <br /> 1 ,300,000 square feet in area. The <br /> fill material will be obtained from <br /> numerous sources, with each source to <br /> be evaluated by the responsible <br /> agencies prior to initiating any <br /> filling. This review will identify <br /> physical, chemical, and biological <br /> character of landfill material; source <br /> of fill; method of placement and <br /> compaction; type of proposed surfacing; <br /> and method of perimeter erosion <br /> control.
