t , RESOLUTION NO. ,4,770Z A Resolution Adopting the Single Family Attached and Multiple Family Residential Policies of the Everett Comprehensive Plan and Residential Map WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted a Generalized Land Use Plan Map in 1967, and adopted the Everett Community Plan in 1972; and WHEREAS, in 1981 , the City Council accepted a Growth Management Report and directed the Planning Commission to use it in developing an updated General Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, in 1984, the City Council adopted the Single Family Detached Poilicies and; WHEREAS, the City of Everett Planning Commission unanimously approved as some of the components of the updated Comprehensive Plan, the Single Family Attached and Multiple Family Residential Policies, and the Residential Map; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: 1. The Everett City Council hereby approves the Comprehensive Plan policies for Single Family Attached and Multiple Family Residential Land Uses, and the Comprehensive Plan Residential Map as a directive and guide for development and for making revisions to Everett's Zoning Code, Zoning Map, and other land use regulatory ordinances and policies. 2. The Single Family Attached and Multiple Family policies of the Comprehensive Plan which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference shall hereby be adopted and the existing Generalized Land Use Plan of 1967 and the Everett Community Plan of 1972 as they relate to the Comprehensive Plan residential policies are hereby repealed. 3. The residential policies for the Southwest Everett Comprehensive Plan of 1982 which were adopted on Resolution No. are still in effect. However, in the event of any conflict between the Residential Policies hereby adopted as part of the Comprehensive Plan and the Southwest Everett Comprehensive Plan, the Single Family Attached and the Multiple Family policies which have been adopted herein as components of the Comprehensive Plan shall control. 4. The Comprehensive Plan Residential Map, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby adopted and the residential land use maps of the existing Generalized Land Use Plan Map of 1967, the Everett Community Plan Map of 1972, any amendments thereto, and the Southwest Everett Comprehensive Plan of 1982 are hereby repealed. 5. The Everett City Council approves the Comprehensive Residential Plan Map with the following land use designations: PARKS, PLAYFIELDS, AND PUBLIC OPEN SPACE
