Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br /> (2009 International Building Code,) (2009 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br /> State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2009 Edition, and adopted by the <br /> City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br /> corrections requested. <br /> 1. Projections shall not extend over the property line. Revise truss design to eliminate <br /> overhang on south side of proposed dwelling. <br /> 2. Projections in the 5'-0" side yard setback shall be protected on the underside for one- <br /> hour fire resistive construction with no openings allowed per R302 International <br /> Residential Code (IRC). Provide detail. <br /> 3. Vaulted ceiling requirements for Washington State Energy Code (WSEC) are applicable <br /> only to single rafter or joist vaulted ceilings. Table 6-1 WSEC, scissor trusses and <br /> parallel chord trusses require R-49 insulation. <br /> 4. Provide attic ventilation calculations. Show size and location of ventilation on plans. <br /> 5. Common areas shall be provided with one-hour fire-resistive assemblies for all ceilings, <br /> walls, and floors. <br /> 6.
