I <br />property, annexations, and changes in state -assessed property, and $200,000 <br />resulting from a refund levy, for a total of $35,669,177. <br />EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES <br />The Everett City Council hereby authorizes the property tax levy for collection <br />in the year 2016 at $6,300,307 (including a $62,379 increase in dollar amount, <br />which is a 1% increase over the amount of taxes lawfully levied by the City in <br />2015. Added to the base will be an estimated $200,000 from new construction, <br />improvements to property, annexations, and changes in state -assessed property, <br />and $100,000 resulting from a refund levy, for a total of $6,600,307. <br />Section 2: That the City Clerk be, and hereby is, directed to certify to the County Assessor <br />a copy of this ordinance in order that the same be extended upon the general <br />assessment roll of said County, in the same manner and at the same time that the <br />levy for the State and County taxes is extended. <br />Section 3: That said taxes shall be collected and paid to the City Treasurer at the same time <br />and in the same manner as provided by the laws of the State of Washington <br />relating to collection of taxes in cities of the first class. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Passed: <br />Valid: <br />Effective: <br />Published: <br />D <br />RAY STEPHANSON, Mayor <br />
