EXHIBIT A- SCOPE OF WORK: <br /> The scope of work for this project will include the following: <br /> TASK 1 —Arc Flash Breaker Coordination Analysis <br /> • The arc flash breaker coordination analysis includes the following: <br /> o Review electrical systems information provided by the city. <br /> o The Short Circuit Current, Protective Coordination, and Arc Flash Hazard <br /> analysis studies will be produced utilizing SKM software. Existing breakers will <br /> be coordinated to meet the maximum PPE Category Level 2 requirements (or as <br /> close as possible). A report including the studies will be provided. <br /> o One (1) hardcopy of the report will be provided to the local operations and <br /> maintenance team for posting in the electrical room. This copy will also contain a <br /> CD which will contain the entire report in PDF format as well as the SKM project <br /> files on it. <br /> o Electronic copies of the report and SKM project files will be provided to the local <br /> team as required. <br /> o Arc Flash Hazard labels will be provided for installation on equipment as <br /> required. <br /> TASK 2 —Additional equipment information gathering <br /> • Retrieval of additional system/component information as required. This will require <br /> removing cover plates on live panels to obtain obscured information and wire sizes. <br /> Removal of equipment cover plates will need to be conducted by a city electrician. <br /> Assumptions, Clarifications and Exclusions: <br /> 1. The city will provide the electrical system and component information for each site as required <br /> to provide the modeling. <br /> 2. Protective device recommendations may be provided within the study to help improve breaker <br /> coordination or lower incident energy values. Installation of these recommended devices is not <br /> included as part of this proposal. <br /> ELECTRICAL FEE AND EXPENSES: <br /> Base Scope of Work: <br /> Task 1. Arc Flash Breaker Coordination Analysis $37,487 <br /> Task 2. Additional Equipment Information Gathering $2,782 <br /> Expenses $250 <br /> Total Fee $40,519 <br /> We propose a Time & Expense fee in the amount of$40,519 for this project. We propose to <br /> invoice monthly based on progress. <br />
