RESOLUTION No. 6906 <br />A Resolution declaring the listed vehicles and equipment as surplus <br />and authorizing their disposition. <br />Whereas, the City has five New Flyer 60 -Foot Articulated Buses, Equipment Numbers B0600, <br />B0601, B0602, B0603, B0604 and associated spare parts in its fleet; and <br />Whereas, the above -referenced equipment is no longer of value or use to the City; and <br />Whereas, Ordinance 2963-06 establishes a procedure and methods for surplusing or disposition <br />of City -owned personal property; and <br />Whereas, based on the guidelines set forth in Section 2 of Ordinance 2963-06 a negotiated sale <br />to a single buyer is the disposition method that best meets the City's interests; and <br />Whereas, the City's purchasing manager has reported the basis for the estimated value of the <br />surplus property and has recommended surplusing the above -referenced vehicles and equipment <br />by public auction. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Everett: <br />The five New Flyer 60 -Foot Articulated Buses B0600, B0601, B0602, B0603, B0604 and <br />associated spare parts are no longer of value or use to the City; and <br />2.
