July 12, 2017 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., July 12, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. Upon roll call, <br /> it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Murphy, Franklin, Bader, Stonecipher and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 5, 2017, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson thanked first responders for their incredible work at the <br /> Everett Marina fire on Saturday. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts reminded council members and the public that the <br /> Snohomish County Cities dinner meeting will be held next Thursday, July <br /> 20, 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Snohomish County Labor Council building. <br /> Council Member Moore commented on the EnvisionEverett 2037 report <br /> presented last week. <br /> Council Member Murphy reported on his attendance at the Snohomish <br /> Health District Board meeting. He announced that the Snohomish Health <br /> District is hiring a new health officer, Dr. Mark Beatty. Council Member <br /> Murphy also provided a liaison report on his attendance at the Parks Board <br /> meeting. <br /> President Tuohy reminded the public that National Night Out Against Crime <br /> will take place on August 1. <br /> 225 <br />
