Iw NOTICE OF INTENTION TO SELL Sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk , City Hall , Everett , Washington until 2 : 00 p.m. April 24, 1986 and thereafter will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers of the City Hall for the sale of the following described property declared surplus by the City of Everett : 2130 Wall Street Lots 21 through 30, inclusive, Block 712, Plat of Everett Land Company' s First Add . ( commonly referred to as bus/sewer barn and located at the southwest corner of Wall and McDougal ) Appraised value of the property is $300,000 . All bids shall be accompanied by a cashier ' s check in an amount not less than ten percent ( 10% ) of the amount of the bid. Property described above shall not be sold for less than 100% of the value established by the above appraisal . The successful bidder shall pay the full purchase price within 30 days from the date the bids are opened or in the alternative, deposit an additional 20% within 30 days , in which case the purchaser shall have an additional 30 days to make full payment . If the successful bidder is unable to fulfill this condition, the cashier ' s check will be forfeited and the property will be resold by a resubmission of the property for competitive bids . This does not apply in the event the City Council authorizes the sale of surplus property by a Real Estate Contract . In the event two identical bids are received, the successful bid shall be deemed to be the one received first in time . The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids .
