1 RESOLUTION NO. c5?6,2p2 <br /> 2 <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the purchase of thirteen vehicles from the <br /> 3 State's contract. <br /> 4 WHEREAS, City Council finds that Chapter 39.34 RCW authorizes <br /> 5 municipalities to enter into an interlocal agreement with the State of <br /> 6 Washington for the purchase of goods and services; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Council finds that the City of Everett has entered into <br /> 7 such a contract with the State; and <br /> 8 WHEREAS, City Council finds that the City of Everett needs to purchase <br /> 9 thirteen (13) vehicles; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Council finds that the State has secured a contract for <br /> 10 the purchase of vehicles and that the City can purchase vehicles from the <br /> 11 State's contract at a savings of $459 - $1945 per car over an estimated Bid <br /> 12 Call price; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Council finds that it is in the best interest of the City <br /> 13 to avail itself of the substantial cost savings and to purchase from the <br /> 14 State's list for this 1986 purchase of thirteen 1986 vehicles; <br /> 15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that the City is hereby authorized to purchase from the State's <br /> 16 contract thirteen (13) City vehicles according to the following: <br /> 17 <br /> 18 State Contract #: 313B-85 <br /> 19 Supplier's Name: McCollum Ford Sales - Spokane <br /> Lynnwood Dodge - Lynnwood <br /> 20 Alley Chevrolet - Seattle <br /> Timberline Dodge - Portland <br /> 21 Capital Chevrolet - Olympia <br /> 22 Cost Per Car: $6,138 - $12,760 <br /> 23 TOTAL COST: $124,996 + Sales Tax <br /> (for 13 vehicles) <br /> 24 ; �. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Councilman Introducing Resolution <br /> TiG <br /> 27 PASSED and APPROVED this S day o , 1986. <br /> 28 c-24...p7iest(:2 <br /> G"- � <br /> 29 ncil President <br /> 30 0241 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
