The proposed action is a change of Oompreheneive Plan of two parcels totaling 23.6 acres, 'located as such: Parcel A - West of the PUD right-of-way, east of10th Ave. SE, north of 92nd • Ave. SE if extended; Parcel B - Eaat of the PUD right-of-way, north of TOP Foods,- The current comprehensive plan designations are as follows for Parcel A: 1967 Plan Single Family, 1972 Plan Open Space, 1973 Park Plan Recommended for acquisition and development. Parcel B is designated Open Space in the 1967 and 1972 Plans and is not addressed by the 1973 Park Plan. The proposed zoning is Parcel A: R-3 Multiple Family Low Density Residential with Contract which restricts the use to an elderly congregate care facility and requires review of design features. Parcel B: C-1, General Commercial with Contract which restricts the use to any of the City uses and requires detailed review of design features. The proposed projects are: Parcel A: 123 unit congregate care facility Parcel B: C-1 with detailed review prior to • construction Reid Shookey, 2907 1/2 Hewitt Reid Shookey, representing the applicant, addressed the Commission using slides and stated that no traffic will utilize 92nd Street for access and suport any action to improve 7th Avenue. - - Rick McCardle of Wight & Hardt, spoke in approval of the project.
