PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES .7 <br /> OCTOBER 22, 1985 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman Gretchen Shaffer. <br /> Others in attendance were Chuck Moser, Tim Coulter, and Phil Duffy. Absent <br /> were Bob Hummel, John Friel, and Tanis Marsh (who is abstaining from Rezone <br /> #14-85) . <br /> The Minutes of October 3, 1985 were accepted as written. <br /> The Minutes of October 8, 1985 were amended by Tim Coulter: Page 1, paragraph <br /> 8, ". . .in a place like this..." replaced by "... in this type of <br /> housing..."; and page 3, paragraph 10, ". . .would be for the berming,. . ." <br /> should be replaced with ". . .require the berming,. . ." . <br /> The Minutes of October 8, 1985 were accepted as amended. <br /> Chuck Moser asked about the congregate care definition as referred to in the <br /> October 8, 1985 Minutes, page 1, paragraph 6. <br /> Gerry stated that the proposed congregate care facility will operate in a <br /> manner similar to other congregate care facilities recently with the following <br /> limitations: <br /> 1. Age Limit: That the entry age for residency in the congretegate <br /> care facility be a minimum of 60 years of age with the exception <br /> that younger spouses will be permiteed in the facility. <br /> Alg 2. Meal Arrangements: That the fee structure for the congregate one <br /> meal per day in the common dining room. <br /> 3. Indoor Recreational Facilities: That the indoor recreational <br /> facilities be limited to use by residents of the congregate care <br /> facility. <br /> 4. Central Services: That the central services facilities including <br /> the dining room to be used by tenants or their guests and not be <br /> rmswie <br /> open to the general public. <br /> Dennis Gregoire introduced Herb Carpenter, who gave a short presentation on <br /> - • shoreline permits he represents that are pending. One is the Aggidommmlpf <br /> Shoreline ` which involves 20 acres. Herb stated th- a 90% in <br /> agreement with the ' _ . t Game and Fisheries, .iologist is reparing <br /> a report, and hopefully the -sion w - e it next month. They also <br /> plan to meet with the environment- erned people before Commission acts <br /> on it. <br /> The other propos- s the Simpson Timber Shoreline it, which involves a <br /> 100 acre s' • '•own from Lowell. Simpson wants to rene s 1978 Shoreline <br /> Permit some changes.
