Resolution No. e26 geZ <br /> A RESOLUTION commemorating the final siting <br /> of the "EQUATOR" <br /> WHEREAS, November 13, 1985 is the one hundred and <br /> thirty-fifth birthday of Robert Louis Stevenson, and, therefore, <br /> a most auspicious occasion for the transfer of his famous ship, <br /> the "EQUATOR" to its permanent home on the Everett waterfront, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT, that all individuals and groups involved <br /> in the accomplishment of this task -- and most particularly, <br /> Dr. Eldon Schalka -- are hereby officially commended and thanked <br /> for their years and hours of effort to preserve this historic <br /> vessel for the pleasure of our present and future citizens. <br /> Wir <br /> Councilman introduci • Resolution <br /> Passed and approved this may of November, 1985. <br /> \ n <br /> C.un• Presi . .
