RESOLUTION NO. cad 6— <br /> A RESOLUTION for the proposed vacation of certain <br /> easement rights for street purposes in the northwest <br /> quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 19, Township <br /> 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M., lying East of the PUD #1 <br /> right of way, and West of Interstate #5. <br /> WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79.010 grants the City Council authority to initiate <br /> the vacation of a right-of-way by resolution, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett does hereby declare that all that portion of <br /> the right-of-way described as: <br /> See Exhibit "A" Attached Hereto, and By This <br /> Reference Incorporated Herein. <br /> appears to be surplus to the foreseeable needs of the City of Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett desires to vacate the above described right- <br /> of-way, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL <br /> that pursuant to R.C.W. 35.79, the City Council of the City of Everett intends to <br /> hold a vacation hearing on the above described property. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing be set for 8:30 a.m. on <br /> July 24, 1985, in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, to consider the proposed <br /> vacation of the aforesaid right-of-way as herein described. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice be given as required by law and in <br /> addition hereto that notice be mailed at least fifteen (15) days before the date <br /> fixed for the hearing to the owner(s), or reputed owner(s), of all parcels of land, <br /> or other property abutting said right-of-way to be vacated, as shown on the rolls <br /> of the County Treasurer. <br /> Councilma In 'rod 'ing Resolution <br /> Passed and approved this ' day of ef v ry r_ , 1985. <br /> 7Co/'/-u'n <br /> it Pre en <br />
