. <br /> 10. Fire Sup�ression (Sprinkler) S sy tem - An approved automatic suppression system shall be provided <br /> as required by City Ordinance No. 3021-07, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett Municipal Code. The <br /> system must include a mechanical water gong bell. <br /> Plans for any such system shall be submitted to the Engineering & Public Services Department for <br /> examination and approval. Such plans shall include plans for the underground mains that will supply <br /> the sprinlcler system. <br /> The type of sprinkler to be installed will be determined by the Building Official. It may be an NFPA <br /> 13, NFPA 13R, or NFPA 13D system depending upon several factors. Sprinkler installation shall <br /> not begin without an approved and stamped set of plans from the Engineering & Public <br /> Services Dep�trtment. The Fire Department will also review the plans and shall field inspect the <br /> installation based only on approved plans that must be on site. Changes to plans must be approved by <br /> both the Engineering & Public Services and Fire Departments. <br /> Aboveground sprinkler piping shall be hydrostatically tested as established in NFPA Standard 13. <br /> Underground piping shall be hydrostatically tested and flushed as established in NFPA Standard 24 <br /> for private fire mains. (Below-�round pipin� must be installed by Washin�ton State Patrol <br /> Licensed Under�round Sprinkler line certified "U" installers. For further information, contact <br /> the State Fire Marshal's Office at (360) 570-3134 or contact the Everett Fire Department at <br /> (425) 257-8123.) All such tests shall be witnessed by a Fire Department Inspector. Call (425) 257- <br /> 8124 to mal<e an appointment for inspection. <br /> Contractors' materials and test certificates shall be submitted to the Everett Fire Department prior to <br /> issuance of any Certificates of Occupancy. <br /> Call (425) 257-8123 for more information. <br /> 1 1. Trash Collection - Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capacity shall be located a minimum of 5 feet <br /> from the building [IFC 304.3.3, 2006 Edition]. <br /> GENERAL INFORMATION <br /> 1. Puget Sound Energy is the natural gas provider in this area. To initiate new service orders, please <br /> contact Marilyn Davis Westlund at (425)356-7512 at least 90 days prior to the required in-service <br /> date. <br /> Any relocation of existing gas facilities for this development will be at the developer's sole expense, <br /> and requires 90 days minimum notice. Please contact Elaine Babby at (206)224-2018 to coordinate <br /> relocation requests. <br /> 2. "1'he Snohomish County PUD currently has sufficient capacity to serve the proposed development. <br /> However, the existing District facilities in the local area may require upgrading. Cost of any worlc, <br /> rie�v or upgrade, to exisling facilities that is required to connect this proposed development to the <br /> llistrict electric system shall be in accordance with the applicable District policy.
