10. Fire Suppression(Sprinkler) System -An approved automatic suppression system shall be provided <br /> as required by City Ordinance No. 3021-07, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett Municipal Code. The <br /> system must include a mechanical water gong bell. <br /> Plans for any such system shall be submitted to the Engineering &Public Services Department for <br /> examination and approval. Such plans shall include plans for the underground mains that will supply <br /> the sprinkler system. <br /> The type of sprinkler to be installed will be determined by the Building Official. It may be an NFPA <br /> 13,NFPA 13R, or NFPA 13D system depending upon several factors. Sprinkler installation shall <br /> not begin without an approved and stamped set of plans from the Engineering& Public <br /> Services Department. The Fire Department will also review the plans and shall field inspect the <br /> installation based only on approved plans that must be on site. Changes to plans must be approved by <br /> both the Engineering &Public Services and Fire Departments. <br /> Aboveground sprinkler piping shall be hydrostatically tested as established in NFPA Standazd 13. <br /> Underground piping shall be hydrostatically tested and flushed as established in NFPA Standard 24 <br /> for private fire mains. (Below-�round pipin�must be installed by Washin�ton State Patrol <br /> Licensed Underground Sprinkler line certified "U" installers. All such tests shall be witnessed by a Fire Department Inspector. Trash Collection- Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capacity shall be located a minimum of 5 feet <br /> from the building [IFC 304.3.3, 2006 Edition]. <br /> GENERAL INFORMATION <br /> 1. Puget Sound Energy is the natural gas provider in this area. To initiate new service orders,please <br /> contact Marilyn Davis Westlund at(425)356-7512 at least 90 days prior to the required in-service <br /> date. <br /> Any relocation of existing gas facilities for this development will be at the developer's sole expense, <br /> and requires 90 days minimum notice. Please contact Elaine Babby at(206)224-2018 to coordinate <br /> relocation requests. <br /> 2. The Snohomish County PUD currently has sufficient capacity to serve the proposed development. <br /> However,the existing District facilities in the local area may require upgrading. Cost of any work, <br /> new or upgrade,to existing facilities that is required to connect this proposed development to the <br /> District electric system shall be in accordance with the applicable District policy.
