<br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3J
<br /> A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Everett, Washington,
<br /> declaring its intention to order the improvement of 1st Place West, also
<br /> known as Howard Ave., from 200 feet south of Everett Mall Way, to
<br /> 104th Street, and Meridian Ave., also known as Warren Ave., from 200
<br /> feet south of Everett Mall Way, to 104th Street, and 1st Drive SE, also
<br /> known as Ward Ave., from 200 feet south of Everett Mall Way, to 104th
<br /> Street, and 104th Street, from 1st Place West, also known as Howard
<br /> Ave., to 3rd Ave. SE, and 9th Drive W, also known as Olivia Park Road,
<br /> from 100 feet, south of 100th St. SW to Everett Mall Way, with an 8 inch
<br /> sanitary sewer system, and property acquisition; and necessary
<br /> appurtenances as determined by the City Engineer in connection
<br /> therewith and to create a local improvement district to assess the cost
<br /> and expense of carrying out such improvement against the properties
<br /> specially benefitted thereby, and notifying all persons who desire to
<br /> object to the improvements to appear and present their objections at a
<br /> meeting of the City Council to be held on February 20, 1985, at 7:00 p.m.
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT,
<br /> WASHINGTON, as follows:
<br /> Section 1: RCW 35.43.040 provides that the legislative authority of a City
<br /> may order a local improvement district.
<br /> Section 2: It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Everett,
<br /> Washington, based on RCW 35.43.040, to order the improvement of the following
<br /> property:
<br /> See Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated by
<br /> reference herein.
<br /> by the construction and installation of:
<br /> 1st Place West, also known as Howard Ave., from 200 feet south of Everett
<br /> Mall Way, to 104th Street, and
<br /> Meridian Ave., also known as Warren Ave., from 200 feet south of Everett
<br /> Mall Way, to 104th Street, and
<br /> 1st Drive SE, also known as Ward Ave., from 200 feet south of Everett Mall
<br /> Way, to 104th Street, and
<br /> 104th Street, from 1st Place West, also known as Howard Ave., to 3rd Ave.
<br /> SE, and
<br /> 9th Drive W, also known as Olivia Park Road, from 100 feet south of 100th St.
<br /> S.W. to Everett Mall Way.
<br /> with an 8 inch sanitary sewer system and property acquisition, and necessary
<br /> appurtenances as determined by the City Engineer in connection therewith.
<br /> Section 3: The total estimated cost and expense of the improvement is
<br /> declared to be $737,800 and the entire cost and expense of such improvement shall
<br /> be borne by, and assessed against, the property specially benefitted by such
<br /> improvement to be included in a local improvement district to be established
<br /> embracing as near as may be all property specially benefitted by such
<br /> improvement.
