A. This is a maximum figure, not a flat contract price. <br /> B. If the Department of Housing and Urban Development reduced <br /> the estimates allocation up to 10%, then each item will be <br /> reduced that amount. If a reduction of greater than 10% <br /> occurs, then the City Staff is instructed to revise the <br /> budget and request approval from the Citizen's Advisory <br /> Committee for Housing and Community Development and <br /> subsequent approval from City Council. <br /> II. The Mayor is hereby authorized to make formal application to the <br /> U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for funding <br /> assistance in accordance with this Resolution. <br /> III. The City Council recognizes the Mayor's willingness to match dollar <br /> for dollar funds from Neighborhood Community Development Block <br /> Grant funds, which are used for street, sidewalk, drainage, and <br /> overlay projects, making the match potentially a total of <br /> $123,527.00 <br /> IV. Any funding assistance so received in 1985 be used for the above <br /> projects. <br /> V. This Resolution become part of the formal application to the U.
