2. Street and Parking Standards <br />a. Sidewalk design. Sidewalks and street trees shall be installed per City <br />specifications as part of the project. <br />Example: Standard sidewalk and street tree improvements will be required as part of <br />downtown projects. <br />b. Special streetscape treatment. All developments must incorporate at least two <br />of the treatments listed below. Treatments must be "one of a kind" and <br />constructed of high quality and durable materials approved by the City. <br />(1) Special surfacing treatment, such as unit pavers, special materials, and <br />inlays, as approved by the City. <br />(2) Artwork incorporated into or along the sidewalk. <br />(3) Decorative tree grates. <br />(4) Decorative clocks. <br />(5) Informational kiosks. <br />(6) Corner curb bulbs or other landscaping elements incorporated into the <br />sidewalks. <br />(7) Other treatments as approved by the City. <br />
