H. Bicycle Facilities. Office buildings with more than 10,000 square feet gross floor <br />area shall include secure bicycle parking facilities, and shower and change room facilities <br />for employees. Design of such facilities shall be subject to approval by the City to ensure <br />adequate capacity for anticipated use, and for convenience of bicyclists. <br />I. Pedestrian Skybridges. Skybridges or pedestrian walkways which are elevated <br />above grade and cross a public street or alley right-of-way shall be prohibited in areas <br />designated as retail streets or connector streets by map number 22-2, and may only be <br />permitted on streets located outside the areas designated by map number 22-2 when <br />approved by the planning director, using Review Process II after consultation with and <br />approval by the city engineer. <br />Section 6. The graphic illustrations and photographs contained in Section 5, Subsections <br />D, E and F of this Ordinance are illustrative examples intended to depict design elements <br />that can be used to satisfy certain of the standards contained in this Ordinance, and are <br />not to be considered as development standards. The Planning Director is authorized to <br />promulgate additional examples of design elements that can be used to meet the <br />requirements of the B-3 zone. <br />Section 7. Section 22.030 of Ordinance No. 1671-89, as amended by Section 24 of <br />Ordinance No. 2107-95 (EMC 19.22.030), is hereby repealed. <br />Section 8. Section 22.040 of Ordinance No. 1671-89, as amended (EMC 19.22.040), is <br />hereby repealed. <br />Section 9. Section 22.070 of Ordinance No. 1671-89, as amended (EMC 19.22.070), is <br />hereby repealed. <br />Section 10. Ordinance No. 2899-06 is hereby repealed. <br />Section 11. Severability. Should any section, paragraph, clause or phrase of this <br />Ordinance, or its application to any person or circumstance, be declared unconstitutional <br />or otherwise invalid for any reason, or should any portion of this Ordinance be pre- <br />empted by state or federal law or regulations, this shall not affect the validity of the <br />remaining portions of this Ordinance or its application to other persons or circumstances. <br />
