• <br /> RESOLUTION NO. -2L1 -7 1 <br /> A RESOLUTION for the proposed vacation of Pine Street, 12th <br /> Street to 14th Street, and a portion of 13th Street from Pine <br /> Street to the alley east of Pine Street. <br /> WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the front footage of Pine Street! <br /> and a portion of 13th Street lying within a portion of the Plat of Everett Division "T" <br /> thereof recorded in Volume 7 of Plats at page 30, records of Snohomish County, State of <br /> Washington, described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the Northwest corner of Block 231 of said plat; <br /> thence West on the North line of Block 231 projected to a point <br /> on the West line of said plat for 80 feet; thence South on the <br /> West line of said plat for 905 feet to a point of intersection with <br /> the South line of Block 258 projected; thence East 80 feet to the <br /> Southwest corner of Block 258 of said plat; thence North along <br /> the West line of Block 258 of said plat for 425 feet to the <br /> Northwest corner of said Block 258; thence East along the North <br /> line of said Block 258 for 124 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot <br /> 1, Block 258 of said plat; thence North 55 feet to the Southeast <br /> corner of Lot 17, Block 231 of said plat; thence West along the <br /> South line of said Block 231 for 124 feet to the Southwest corner <br /> of said Block 231, said point also bears South from the point of <br /> beginning; thence North along the West line of said Block 231 for <br /> 425 feet to the point of beginning <br /> have petitioned for vacation of said right-of-way; and <br /> WHEREAS, RCW 35.79.010 provides that the City Council shall, by resolution, fix <br /> a date for public hearing on said petition; and <br /> WHEREAS, on April 4, 1984, a public hearing was held on the proposed vacation; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, on May 30, 1984, City Council passed Ordinance No. 1034-84 vacating! <br /> above described Pine Street, subject to payment of one-half the appraised value within) <br /> ninety (90) days following passage of the ordinance; and <br /> WHEREAS, the ninety (90) days have expired as of August 28, 1984; and <br /> WHEREAS, the petitioner/proponent is requesting a reimbursement of the <br /> vacation subject to the one-half appraised value, and instead, desires to exchange right- <br /> of-way and designate a green belt area as provided within Resolution No. 1724. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT that a public hearing be set for 8:30 a.m. on September 26, 1984, in the <br /> City Council Chambers, City Hall, to consider the proposed vacation of aforesaid right- <br /> of-way as herein described. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice be given as required by law as set forth <br /> in RCW35.79.020. <br /> I fAillt2=a1 <br /> Councilman Introducing Resolution <br /> • i <br /> Passed and approved this ;I day of / , 1984 <br /> /I <br /> /. ire <br /> 'resident <br />
