These comments address building issues only. Additional <br />revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning <br />or Fire). All references refer to the 2003 International Residential Code, as amended <br />by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2004 Edition, and <br />adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be <br />necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete new sets <br />of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. <br />1. Walls designated as bearing walls (Page 8) require a footing (Page 7). The <br />footings shown do not match the locations of the bearing walls. <br />2. Shear walls designated on Page 8 should have footings. <br />3. Provide all dimensions on foundation plan. <br />4. Provide header size(s) at all openings in bearing walls. <br />5. Detail "A" on Sheet 11 shows concrete over foundation stem wall. If settling <br />occurs in fill under slab, slab will crack and break.
