RESOLUTION NO. e..,?3 YS <br /> A RESOLUTION amending the Comprehensive Plan <br /> of the City of Everett as provided for by <br /> Section 12 of Ordinance No. 3-68, (Everett <br /> Municipal Code Title 2, Section 20, Subsection 120), <br /> to encompass an area north of 100th Street S.W. <br /> between Kasch Park and Walter E. Hall Golf Course. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on December 13, 1983, the <br /> Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding establishing a <br /> Comprehensive Plan designation for the hereinafter described property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds, after reviewing the Planning <br /> Commission recommendation at public hearings on January 4, 1984, and <br /> February 8, 1984, that Mixed Use Residential and Multiple Family <br /> Residential land uses are compatible with the surrounding community; and <br /> WHEREAS, on December 28, 1983, City Council annexed portions of an <br /> area to the City of Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that State law requires that a <br /> Comprehensive Plan land use designation be established for areas annexed <br /> to the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Comprehensive Plan <br /> 1 designation hereinafter set forth is in the best interest of the City of <br /> Everett; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that: <br /> 1. The Comprehensive Plan designation of Mixed Use Residential, <br /> 8-12 dwelling units per gross acre, and Multiple Family <br /> Residential, 12-24 dwelling units per gross acre, are hereby <br /> adopted for the described property (see attached Comprehensive <br /> Plan Map which is incorporated herein by reference) . <br /> 2.
