RESOLUTION NO. ,3SS <br /> A RESOLUTION declaring an emergency <br /> to exist at the Forest Park Swim Pool <br /> WHEREAS, the Forest Park Swim Center roof has sustained irreparable <br /> damage to its fabric cover during a November 25, 1983 storm; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to replace the fabric cover with a permanent <br /> roof; and <br /> WHEREAS, IAC has given approval for the permanent roof to be installed; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the damaged fabric cover must be replaced as soon as possible to <br /> to allow continued use of the Swim Center, and to prevent possible damage to the <br /> structure; and <br /> WIICREAS, ORD Architects, Inc. arc designers of the original building and * <br /> +ave both familiarity and experience in this building;- - <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of <br /> Everett that an emergency exists which requires the immediate employment of an <br /> architectural consultant, and <br /> FURTHER, that the Mayor is authorized to sign a consultant contract with <br /> ORB Architects, Inc. to provide design services for a permanent roof. * <br /> an architect <br /> *Amended - (see minutes of 12-21-83) <br /> --R%4 <br /> Council Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this dayof ��� E,� 1983. <br /> Council President <br />
