RESOLUTION NO. c1 A Resolution approving a committment of city funds in conjunction with matching funds from the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation Project IAC 1-83-035D for the continued develop- ment of Kasch Memorial Park WHEREAS, the Everett City Council recognizes that within the context of the total development plan of the Kasch Memorial Park, following the completion of the Phase I ballfields, lighting and parking areas, Phase II soccer field, jogging trail and picnic area development is now appropriate subsequent to the application for project approval and funding by IAC, and WHEREAS, the Everett City Council acknowledges the need for providing matching funds in the amount of $150, 000 for the development of a soccer field, jogging trail and picnic area, and WHEREAS, the Everett City Council acknowledges that IAC will provide a matching amount of $150, 000 for the development of these facilities, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT THAT the actions to be taken by the City Council are to: 1. Authorize $150 , 000 to be appropriated as a source of revenue in the 1984 City of Everett budget from the general fund for Kasch Memorial Park Phase II development. 2. Authorize $150, 000 to be appropriated as a source of revenue in the 1984 City of Everett budget from IAC matching funds for the 'Kasch Memorial Park Phase II development. 3. Authorize the above $300, 000 to be appropriated as a source of revenue to, and as a form of expense in, the Kasch Park Construction Fund in the 1984 City of Everett budget.
