RESOLUTION NO. c1 <br /> A Resolution approving a committment of city <br /> funds in conjunction with matching funds from <br /> the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation <br /> Project IAC 1-83-035D for the continued develop- <br /> ment of Kasch Memorial Park <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council recognizes that within the <br /> context of the total development plan of the Kasch Memorial <br /> Park, following the completion of the Phase I ballfields, <br /> lighting and parking areas, Phase II soccer field, jogging <br /> trail and picnic area development is now appropriate subsequent to <br /> the application for project approval and funding by IAC, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council acknowledges the need for <br /> providing matching funds in the amount of $150, 000 for the <br /> development of a soccer field, jogging trail and picnic area, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council acknowledges that IAC will <br /> provide a matching amount of $150, 000 for the development of <br /> these facilities, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT THAT the actions to be taken by the City Council <br /> are to: <br /> 1. Authorize $150 , 000 to be appropriated as a source <br /> of revenue in the 1984 City of Everett budget <br /> from the general fund for Kasch Memorial Park <br /> Phase II development. <br /> 2. Authorize $150, 000 to be appropriated as a source <br /> of revenue in the 1984 City of Everett budget <br /> from IAC matching funds for the 'Kasch Memorial <br /> Park Phase II development. <br /> 3. Authorize the above $300, 000 to be appropriated <br /> as a source of revenue to, and as a form of <br /> expense in, the Kasch Park Construction Fund in <br /> the 1984 City of Everett budget. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, TO submit this res. ution <br /> to the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation, that the <br /> City has .officially obligated funding sources to meet the grant <br /> match by using funds of the City of Everett as outlined h. rewith. <br /> . •�Tp an Introducin/ es•gtion <br /> Passed and approved this 19th day of October, 1983 <br />
