These long term obligations include <br /> the Multi-Purpose Facility $150,000 and Everett Tourism Marking Plan 150,000.00 for a total of$300,000. <br /> The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee along with the Budget and Finance chair also reviewed and discussed <br /> all applications received on or before February 1, 2017 to recommend the best allocation of current Lodging <br /> Tax revenues in an amount not to exceed $300,000. The total amount of grant recommendations in an <br /> amount not to exceed$300,000.00 is as follows: <br /> Village theatre Promoting 3 shows starting with a Proper Place $40,000 <br /> Everett's Colors of Freedom Fourth of July $30,000 <br /> Sorticulture Everett's Garden Arts Festival $24,000 <br /> Schack Arts Center Exhibits and Events $78,950 <br /> YMCA Yankee Doodle Dash $ 5,000 <br /> Imagine the Holidays Imagine Children's Museum $13,840 <br /> Fisherman's Village Music Festival $20,000 <br /> Downtown Everett Pedestrian Wayfmding Signage $25,000 <br /> Everett Craft Beer Festival $23,200 <br /> The Everett Quilt Show $10,001 <br /> Olympic Ballet $ 5,000 <br /> Total $274,991.00 <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Concur with the recommendation of the <br /> Lodging Tax Advisory Committee and the Budget Finance Chair to accept the long term obligations of the <br /> Hotel Motel Tax listed above and to allocate grant funding as designated in an amount not to exceed <br /> $300,000 and Authorize the Mayor to sign the contracts. <br />
