RESOLUTION 2, 3/3 A RESOLUTION segregating the Local Improvement Assessment for L.I.D. No. 687, Treasurer's Account No. 0007. WHEREAS, the City of Everett has been requested, by the owner of the southerly portion of Lot 17, Beverly Berry Tract Div. 2, Account No. 0007, in L.I.D. Roll No. 687, to segregate the assessment of said Account No. 0007 into two separate assessments; and WHEREAS, the requested segregation is for the purpose of correcting legal description and removing the assessment from the portion of the property incorrectly included on L.I.D. Roll No. 687, therefore the City of Everett is co- applicant and the fee required under Ordinance 299-74 should be waived; and WHEREAS, the remaining segregated property is of sufficient value to provide adequate security for the payment of the total assessment chargeable against the undivided parcel of property, and is the property originally intended to be assessed; and WHEREAS, RCW 35.44.410 and Ordinance No. 299-74 provide a method of segregating a tract of land in an L.I.D. into smaller parcels; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of said L.I.D. and the City of Everett to segregate said Account No. 0007 into the two separate ownerships; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT: Section 1: That the City Treasurer is directed to make a segregation on the original Assessment Roll No. 687; Section 2: That the segregation shall be made as nearly as possible on the same basis as the original assessment was levied; Section 3: That the total of the segregated parts of the original assessments shall equal the assessment before segregation; Section 4: That the original tract and assessment known as L.I.D. No. 687, Treasurer's Account No. 0007, was passed by Ordinance 135-71 on April 7, 1971, more specifically described as follows: Beverly Berry Tracts Division 2, Fraction of Lot 17, Less State Highway, Section 11, Township 28, Range 4 E $1,753.18
