RESOLUTION NO. d2.-7,570 <br /> A RESOLUTION prohibiting parking during the 1983 <br /> Washington State International Air Fair at Paine <br /> Field, July 16-17, 1983. <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 46.08.050, E.C.C. , provides that the City Council <br /> may, by resolution, designate street or alley areas where parking shall <br /> be regulated, restricted, or prohibited; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Washington State International Air Fair Board of Direct- <br /> ors has requested a "No Parking 8:00 a.m. to 12 midnight" restriction for <br /> a two-day period, July 16 and 17, 1983 in the vicinity of Paine Field; <br /> and the Washington State International Air Fair Board of Directors will <br /> furnish, install, and remove the "No Parking" signs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council does desire to prohibit the parking of <br /> vehicles on certain streets or portions thereof during the time of the <br /> Air Show; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that <br /> all vehicles be prohibited from parking in the following locations <br /> from 8:00 a.m. to 12 midnight on July 16 & 17, 1983. <br /> a) 20th Ave. West, both sides, from SR 526 to the Haul Rd. <br /> b) Airport Rd. , west side, from the So City limits to SR 526. <br /> e ---8as ae-Rd--(86-8t-8W).-beth-s+des;-€rent-A4Tpe t-lid-te-48th-Ave-W <br /> (Not in 1983 due to construction) <br /> and the Chief of Police is hereby authorized to enforce these restrict- <br /> ions, including the authority to tow away violators if deemed necessary. <br /> 'l!4 <br /> 11!!!!! elf% <br /> n il'.erson Introducing Resolution <br /> Passed and approved this day of 4122,9 , 1983. <br /> Council President <br />
